I Will Continue My Own Journey…

I was in my deepest state of depression last night up to this afternoon. And I actually thought of doing something people who know me wouldn’t believe that I can actually do it. I won’t tell you what it is… but I’m very very glad I didn’t do it because I might be on the headlines of our next school organ… Whooooh, that would be creepy for those who know me. Anyway, I really am thankful I didn’t do it.

I found this quotable quote from one of my e-mails. Its from Mr. Stephen Pierce. Its goes like this:

“Everything that happens to us happens in purpose. And sometimes, one
thing leads to another. Instead of locking yourself up in your cage
of fears and crying over past heartaches, embarrassment and
failures, treat them as your teachers and they will become your
tools in both self improvement and success.”

Too right, he is. Sometimes we have to learn the hard way. So hard we thought its the bitter ending. But you can’t bury yourself in depression for the rest of your life. Nor you won’t be able to solve your problems by committing suicide. Life is wonderful, yes. But that doesn’t mean you will not have any twists and turns. But as you go through it, there will always be a hidden purpose beneath it. We may  not know it in an instant, but taking time to ponder helps a lot… it can even save your life…

…From that, it occur to me all the hopes and dreams I built along the way… no one will make it come true but me…

Credits, love and kisses to:

my sister, who promised me no rivalry for a week, haha!!!

my beloved friends, they were my source of strength as I went through that very painful situation (although they don’t know it)

my cousin, she solved my problem (she don’t know about it, too)

super cute and cuddly Echo, for giving me three-fourths of his ‘totong’ candy

It’s been a looong and tiring week and I actually forgot that I have a blog that needs to be updated

I know wasn’t able to post here on my blog for more than a week. But jeez, I have been so busy with the school activities. Well, not only me but our section as well. I even got myself a fever after sleeping only for an hour for two days… oouugh!

By the way the Science Month is over. And that means ‘hello schoolwork again’ (so terrifying!). I already got used to going to school and doing nothing ;P

Before I say goodbye to Science Month… I want to cherish every moment I had with it… hmmmmmm……:

First, the GABAG ‘Trailer’ and the Photoslideshow

I am very much satisfied with the outcome of my almost-a-week burden.. haha.. I am very proud indeed to show it in front of the whole del Pilarian crowd! (ooopss!! is that my head getting bigger?? haha!!!) I actually caught a fever because of that two (yeah, I know I’ve already mentioned that fever…) …  but it was really worth it, I’m telling you. I’m planning to upload it on youtube. :D

Then, the BasketBOOTH…

I believe it was our Science Research teacher’s idea to make a basketbooth (yeah you got what our booth is, didn’t you? Its basketball..pfft). And it was obviously manage by the boys of our section, IV- Einstein… They love it so much for real. As for the girls, they made the prizes (take note of the word ‘they’, I didn’t help! haha! Well, a bit but compare it to the other girls…____)

Lastly, Bb. Physics/ Miss Photogenic/ Best in Casual Wear

I believshale, lara, jejee I should ask for permission from Lara before talking about this… heh? Alright here I go:

Jenelle: Giiiiiiiiirl! I’ll be posting about this, huh?

Lara: Sure!

Jenelle: Tnx!!!

(heh! Really, I’m a bit ‘autistic’ at times)

Ok, ’nuff with that. We are really proud of what she has achieved that night. Like after all the issues she had to face. But believe me, she deserve more than that. From my own point of view, she already break out of her shell. Take the story of the ugly duckling who turned into a beautiful swan (just kidding, my friend! haha!).

Gosh, I’m lost for words here. I guess this is enough for what had happened within the past week. Ciao-wow!!!

Lakad Agham, our worst presentation… yet?

A Pandemonium

I got up on my usual waking time this morning. Today is the Lakad Agham. I don’t know why but it seems like I’m not that excited as I have been on the previous years. I arrived at school at 5:35 in the morning. I thought I was just a bit late because from what I know, the call time is 5:30. The heck it wasn’t, Shaliza told me that it was actually 5:00.

The parade started at 6 quarter with the CAT officers leading the way followed by the Ginoo & Binibining Agham candidates. Some of the GABAG title aspirants were late, as in very late. The first thing that came into our minds (some of the officers), they’re being prima donnas already. Some of my co-officers and I were joking that we should be in line with the candidates because we also have what they have when we noticed that the CATs leading the way were already heading back to the school campus. Another heck! It was not the route planned for that day’s activity. And so we have to run and catch up with the CATs. Pia (our club’s president) is a little hesitant to tell them that they were heading the wrong way. After minutes of mustering the courage, she finally told them.

My classmates should’ve also been joining the parade. Well they did, actually. They were meters away from the school’s gate, holding the ‘dragon’ they made yesterday up high. Mrs. Vivo (our Physics teacher) approach them to say that those who were assigned in the preparation of the program should go to the gym and give a helping hand. And guess what. All of them, I really mean ALL of them pull out themselves from the parade. But instead of going to the gym, they head back to our Physics room.

We were not able to join the parade because in place of the assigned committee who will keep the sectioning line-up of every year level who join the parade, it was us who take over their position. We don’t know where the hell they are.

Out of fury, we ( Chris, Rhie, Shaliza and I) decided to go to the gym after sometime. We check the sound system and found out that we need a cd player because Sir Bernie (the sounds facilitator of our school) hasn’t arrived yet. Take note, I am the one in charge of the sound system. The only I know then was to find a player. I ran almost around the school searching for a cd player. Thanks to my adrenaline rush I was able to do it. Rhie help me with that. She even went to the Values Department begging to lend us a player. After minutes and minutes of running, thank God I found one from IV- Newton (many thanks again to Jona!).

The students were filling up the whole gym. I can’t believe that even the bleachers were crowded.

The Blame.

It isn’t any wonder that all of us from IV-Einstein must be blame for what happened today. At the program, at the parade and on our section’s props for Lakad Agham. After all, we all have an attitude and there is still a wall that divides us from each other.

A Wake Up Call.

From all of the things that happened today, one thing came into my mind: We can really do better than that. Its only a matter of laziness, procrastination and a stupid attitude that keeps us from doing things way beyond what we think we could and what they expect from us.

We dared.

We dared. The Creamsilk Hair Dare campaign was at our school today. :)

We were at the Physics room when my friend Charles thought about going to the school’s gym just to see what’s happening (it was being held there). And because we’re also curious, my ’super’ friends Lara, Shaliza, and Rhie together with me all agree to Charles’ idea. So be it, we went there.

We were at the gym when Lara said she wanted to try the Hair Dare. As for me, I wanted to try it, too. So we fall in line at the registration area. By that time, Lara and I were forcing Shaliza and Rhie to try it, too. Both were hesitant. Lara and I were like: “Anu ba last year na natin ‘to, sayang naman”, “Next year wala ng ganito”. But, unfortunately for us, our convingcing powers didn’t work. And so it was only the two of us who will ‘dare’. (”Where is Charles?”, you ask. Duh! He is a GUY (unfortunately for him, he won’t be able to try the ‘challenge’. Haha!) He is back at the Physics room.

9:30 am, we were still on the line. At the registration area. But the two of us still have the spirit do ‘dare’.

10:05 am, thank heavens we were already sitting at the waiting area. We were already registered by that time. We sat there for more than an hour I guess. While we wait for our turn, Lara read a Candy mag provided by the facilitators. As for me, I sat beside her staring at the other seniors who are up for the challenge (but actually, nakatunganga ;P)

11:30 am (I guess!), it’s now our turn!!! We were both called by the attendant so they can start mashing our hair with a shampoo and a conditioner. The atmosphere there was a bit hot. The shampooing and conditioning took only… a minute? Next stop: Hair blowing booth. I can’t remember what happened there. All I know is there were two ladies blowing my hair dry. It took them a long time. My hair has so much volume. I finished first than Lara then. Here comes the most exciting part. We finally got the badge saying “I dared.” Like it was the reason why we wanted to try the Creamsilk challenge :3.

After minutes of hair-pampering we saw Shaliza and Rhie approaching us. They saw the badge and they were like, “Binigay sa inyo yan?!” “Sabi ko sa’yo dapat sumama na tayo eh”.

But there is this sad thing I’ve realized while writing this post. They really should’ve joined us because I think it could’ve have been a great bonding for the four of us.
